The PDP-5000EX has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and is capable of displaying the entire range of High Definition sources, including 720p, 1080i and 1080p – this is the first plasma display capable of 1080p.

What this means is that you get the ultimate in High Definition image detail, colour accuracy and fast moving image clarity – made possible by the displays higher pixel count and faster refresh rate (of 720p).

Again, the best you’ll find in a 50-inch flat screen.

The PDP-5000EX accepts both standard and high definition sources and will automatically “smart” convert these to give you the highest resolution picture possible.

PUREBLACK Crystal Layer: this forms part of the front glass plate of the panel to dramatically improve dynamic colour and contrast, deeper black colours, and increased brightness.
